You Were Never Alone

You Were Never Alone tells the story of Juliette, a Brazilian reality show winner who became deeply loved by audiences throughout her time on the show. The documentary follows her journey and explores the person behind the public figure, revisiting the experiences that shaped her and the relationship she built with viewers. The documentary was filmed shortly after her victory at Big Brother Brazil. Radiográfico Studio was commissioned to create all the content displayed on three large LED screens surrounding the artist, and I was responsible for developing the motion design language, coordinating the motion design team, planning the animation production workflow, and managing deliveries for the LED screens. Challenges: The project required developing content across three large LED screens, with a wide range of animated elements designed to support the live structure of the program. Throughout the show, Juliette was surprised by visits from several of her favorite singers. An animated train was created as a visual device to introduce each guest, while each musical performance received its own graphic representation. The visual language was deeply connected to Juliette’s roots, drawing inspiration from Northeastern Brazilian culture, folk art, and regional graphic elements. Each musical moment required a distinct visual treatment while maintaining consistency across the three screens and throughout the overall experience. With a short production timeframe and a large volume of content to deliver, the project demanded an extremely organized workflow and precise coordination. Every animation had to be planned, prepared, and delivered to work seamlessly in a live environment, where timing and reliability were essential.
